It’s that time of year again, when the European half of the HRW team dive in to their second company day of the year! The team were in for a very special treat, with pure fun and team bonding as the order of the day.

To start with, the Oxford team headed to London to meet the rest of their peers at our new, flashy London offices near Aldgate, where a brunch of pastries, fruit and juice was on offer. After a little time to explore these stylish surroundings, the team were given a welcoming and motivating speech by our global MD, Caroline Jameson. Always a good way to spur your team on, especially before a spot of healthy competition…

Next, it was all about golf clubs and balls as we headed to Swingers West End. A stylish, funky, underground crazy golf bar, with an atmosphere to suit. Grouped into teams and conveniently pointed them towards the bar, we enjoyed relaxing in the club house prior to teeing off…

Soon enough, there were golf clubs swinging in all directions and some nifty little moves going down on the turf. The competitive edge of our team was definitely in the air, with an “interesting” variety of skill levels on display.

With some stunning hole-in-ones, frustrating sandpit disasters and expert putting spotted over the course of a couple of hours, ten games were played and enjoyed by all. The team continued to embrace the spirit of the day, kicking off their golfing shoes and indulging in delicious street food (pizza, tacos, and gourmet burgers) whilst celebrating the successes at the bar. What a fantastic day!
