Requirements Purpose of the role: Put simply the role of the Research Director can be split into three key areas. To write proposals that catch the eye and capture the essence of a client’s project. To lead research projects to such a high standard that they generate repeat business in the future. To help with our new business efforts by showcasing the amazing work we do, attending BD meetings and always maintaining super strong client relationships. In a nutshell, you will be the go-to-person at HRW for quantitative and qualitative research projects and strategy. You can expect to be busy but you won’t be without support and this highly visible role will provide you with the opportunity to make a significant mark on the future of HRW globally. What you will be doing: • You will have strong involvement in managing excellent and profitable projects and project teams and delighting our clients • Plan individual projects from start to finish and obtain appropriate resources to conduct the research • Ensure that objectives are clearly understood and techniques properly costed • Act as centre of excellence for research expertise – skills, therapy area knowledge etc. • You’ll spend time investigating and testing new analytical techniques and approaches to better answer key client questions • You’ll undertake complex analytical work to add value to insights and debriefs • Ensure that a project is conducted to the highest possible standards of quality and timeliness, commensurate with clients’ needs and budgets, with a view to securing repeat business • You will have the confidence, pharmaceutical sector and agency sector knowledge to be able to provide thoughtful and strategic insights to our clients through project delivery and writing engaging proposals, as well as using business development skills to build lasting client relationships • You will be involved in the development of the team, using coaching and training on a regular basis • Assume a training role for other members of the company and otherwise impart knowledge, which will help colleagues to work more efficiently and effectively What would really make you stand out as a candidate?
