At this year’s Best of Business Intelligence’ (BOBI) award ceremony at London’s Royal Garden Hotel the HRW team were delighted to walk away with some hardware. HRW’s Faye Holmes (Research Manager) was named runner up out of 18 shortlisted contestants in the ‘Best Newcomer’ competition after completing a rigorous day of “individual exercises based on a practical simulation exercise/case-study” Katy Irving (Head of Innovation), Jess Woodhead (Senior Research Manager), and Olivia Brickman (Research Executive),were presented with the ‘Most Innovative Approach’ award for their project in conjunction with Janssen – ‘Real Collaboration in the Virtual World’. The case study showed how close collaboration with multi-disciplinary client teams, our engagement of a User Experience consultant (Jon Lovatt-Young from Love Experience), and use of behavioural analysis delivered the insight our client needed to take some critical decisions on a Virtual Reality training interface. The judging panel said of the submission: “A thought provoking piece of research that had obvious benefits to the company and the brand. Clever use of technology and of customer segmentation meant that the agency was able to deliver real insights to the brand team that helped with the implementation of virtual reality and delivered a smooth transition to this technology. Good collaboration with various stakeholders across the business has given confidence to both the business, and ultimately the customers, that this is an investment worth undertaking.” For more details on the BOBI awards, please visit the website.
