We are delighted to announce that the HRW paper at the European Pharmaceutical Market Research Association (EphMRA) has been awarded the Jack Hayhurst award for Best Paper at the 2015 annual conference in Amsterdam this summer. The paper, presented at the conference by research director Katy Irving, showcased the ground-breaking work we have done with Google Glass and featured a discussion of the role of this class of technology (collectively called ‘Heads Up Displays’) in the future of healthcare market research and showcased a compelling self-funded case study of the technology in research with cancer patients. According to EphMRA, “There were 13 papers eligible for the JH Award in 2015 – that is, papers which were presented by speakers who had gone through a rigorous selection process by the Programme Committee in the Autumn 2014 and Spring 2015. This is the 2nd year that all eligible papers were judged by a ‘Best Paper’ Judging Panel for the JH Award, comprising o judges, using a pre-defined set of judging criteria. These criteria covered the delivery of the presentation itself; the overall value provided by the paper to delegates and an overall score for the presentation. Presentations were videoed at the conference and judges reviewed all papers alongside the presentation slides.” Katy says “I am delighted to accept the award today on behalf of the wider HRW team who have been dedicated to rigorously putting the technology through its paces; it has been the kind of innovative research that was fun to conduct and a joy to present.” Apply Now!
