HRW’s Innovation Challenge: Celebrating Creativity and Impact 

Innovation is at the heart of HRW, driving forward new ideas and impactful solutions both within our business and beyond. Every year, we hold HRW’s innovation challenge where we invite our team to pitch fresh ideas, an opportunity to raise an idea, process or solution that drives meaningful change – internally and with our clients.

This year, two prestigious awards were up for grabs—one recognising innovation in client-facing research and another aimed at enhancing internal processes and employee satisfaction. With incredible entries and fierce competition, we’re thrilled to announce our 2024-25 winners!

HRW Validate

Kate Thornton, Senior Behavioural Science Analyst, Ali Liefgreen, Senior Behavioural Science Analyst and Doran Campbell, Research Manager, have won the Auriga Award, named after the constellation “Auriga” or ‘reign holder’ which recognises innovation with potential to impact client-facing research.

The team won this award for their idea ‘HRW Validate’: an experimental offering designed to test and compare behavioural interventions; with a primary focus on digital applications.

HRW Focus

Ollie Daysmith, Behavioural Scientist, has won the “Hercules” Award, named after the constellation “Hercules” or ‘kneeler’. This award recognises innovation with potential to improve internal processes and employee satisfaction.

His idea introduces strategies to improve concentration, minimise distractions and optimise workload for the team. His vision will enhance efficiency and workplace well-being.
